"What can I say!!! We visited this ambient, nature garden home while on holiday in nearby Greve. Let me first say my partner did not appreciate the walk up the steep hill. However, when you get to I ‘ Desio Ristorante the walk is more than worth it. I say “home” rather than restaurant because thats exactly what this is. There is no set menu and the gracious owners explain this. It was a truly unique experience with great quality local grown excellent produce and they harvest their own wine. I’ve saved the best for last.. The view over the Tuscan countryside takes your breath away. Grazie Mille"

"Daniele and his staff were just the beginning of our wonderful experience. The view was beautiful, the people were kind, the atmosphere was romantic and fun, the food was unbelievably good and super fresh, and lastly the wine was chefs kiss! I walked 5 miles with my husband to eat here to celebrate my birthday and it was worth every single step. This experience is what I will forever remember about my trip to Italy. Thank you - grazie!"

"The whole concept is simply amazing. The owner is such a sympathetic guy, with gastronomy and hosting clearly in his DNA. The set menu includes many courses, paired with wine and coffee. Each dish is explained in detail, and the servers even point out the exact fields where the ingredients come from - right in front of you. The flavors are authentic, rich, and unforgettable. It truly feels like being invited to a local’s home for a meal. Honestly, it was one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences I’ve ever had. I loved it so much that I even brought home a bottle of the owner’s wine for the evening. By the way - their pork with sage sauce and roasted vegetables is something I’ll remember for a very long time. "Food and wine with ingredients from the gardens you overlook. Homemade and amazing tasting. No menu, you get whatever they cook that day based on what they harvest. Well worth a visit. Not over salted, not sugary, just good tasting. I recommend making reservation ahead of time, it gets busy. Ill visit again."

"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The owner himself took care of us — very attentive and kind. He explained that they cook based on what they have available in the kitchen and from their garden, which makes the food feel truly homemade. They even make their own jam and olive oil. The meal started with bread, garlic, salt, and olive oil, followed by three types of bruschetta: cheese with herbs, caramelized onion, and ragù. Then we had a traditional Tuscan dish called pappa al pomodoro (made with old bread, tomatoes, and herbs), which was hearty and comforting. The main course was pork with mashed potatoes, which was delicious, and for dessert we had biscotti with coffee. The menu is a 4-course set menu, and it includes house wine (a Chianti), but we ordered a rosé for €20 instead. The total was €40 per person, which felt very fair considering the quality, atmosphere, and the breathtaking view. If I could, I’d give it 4.5 stars — a truly authentic Tuscan experience."

"Hidden gem in Montefiorella village! Highlight of the restaurant is definitely the view perched atop the Montefiorella vineyards, it’s stunning. Be sure to book if you want terrace seats. We had the set menu (€40) which was generous and very tasty. The staff were lovely, taking the time to explain their daily routine of sourcing ingredients from the farm. Sadly we had to rush off due to our next winery booking."
